The children in Crickets and Caterpillars had a visit from the Heritage museum to support our history/ English topic of the gunpowder plot. The children participated in a range of activities, including paint explosion painting, pass the bomb where the children needed to tell us facts about the gunpowder plot before the bomb exploded, and using a feather quill pen and ink to write a letter to King James warning him of the plan to blow him up! The children were really engaged and thoroughly enjoyed all the activities.
