We had a super day at Nothe Fort learning all about life as an evacuee in wartime Britain. We went shopping at the village shop and found the money system a little confusing. In the Morrison shelter, we imagined what it would have been like to experience an air raid - it was quite loud and scary. We also learnt about life at home in the kitchen and how to wash. At the end of the day, we visited the ramparts, looking at some of the machinery and the role Weymouth played in the war.
