Peacocks 1 had a fantastic day at Longleat Safari Park. We saw lots of amazing animals and nearly had a new addition to the class when a monkey hitched a ride in the Monkey drive through!

The children were fortunate to attend a rain forest talk where they learned about the different layers in the rain forest and creatures that exist within them. We even got chance to meet a few of these amazing animals. What an adventure!

Orienteering - Today Peacocks 1 and 2 worked on their physical and maths skills by reading grid references to locate the points of an orienteering course. Everyone had a great time.

Peacocks worked really hard in PE today and loved doing the obstacle course.

Peacocks Christmas parents afternoon 2018

The children's parents were invited to join us for some festive fun a treats. The children had a wonderful afternoon performing a fantastic Christmas carol concert to their parents and peers. They then spent the rest of the afternoon having fun making paper Christmas wreaths and Rudolph baubles together.

Fossil hunting at Charmouth Beach

Although we are a specialist base, we like to participate in mainstream learning and activities as  much as possible. Here, a pupil has enjoyed a day out at Charmouth Beach hunting for fossils with his year group.

We always work as independently as possible. All pupils have differentiated tasks and structure which enables them to learn with as few prompts as possible. All pupils learn within a group but at their own pace.
