Please note: There will be no work set for over the Easter holidays (WB 6/4/20 and WB 13/4/20) but I will post the work ready for the beginning of Summer term (WB 20/4/20)
Well done for the fantastic home learning you have been doing over the last couple of weeks. It has been brilliant to see what you have been getting up to on Tapestry - keep posting as myself and all the other staff in Peacocks really enjoy looking at your work and the photos of things you have done.
Wasn't the weather beautiful last week. I can see lots of "Spring" things when I am outside walking, or in my garden. There are some lovely yellow flowers that have appeared, does anyone know what they are called? Perhaps you can spot some when you are out walking with your family
Remember, try to read with your parents at least once a day, and practice those spellings and times tables too! You have all your logins for the websites we use, such as Purple Mash, Sum Dog and Times Tables Rockstars. I have set different work on Sum Dog and Times Tables Rockstars, and I have set you some "To do" work on Purple Mash.
See below for a list of websites and online resources that you can access, as well as some files you can download to help with your work.
Enjoy your Easter break, and check back here on the 20th April for your work. I look forward to hearing what you all do over Easter.
WB 20th April 2020
I hope you had a lovely break over Easter, and are ready for some more learning at home.
Keep up your fantastic reading and keep practising those times tables! You have work set on Sum Dog and Times Tables Rockstars, and this can be a quick 15 minute activity to get your brain going in the morning. You also have some "To Do" tasks on Purple Mash
This week in numeracy, we are going to focus on money - coin recognition, adding coins, subtracting coins and giving change. You might be able to ask your parents for some coins to practice with which will help.
In literacy, we are going to go back over adjectives, and using them to really enhance our writing. You are all fab at thinking of different adjectives, but remember, make sure the adjective you choose makes sense when you read it back to yourself!
To access the resources, please click the icons below. The worksheets provided are in addition to online tasks set - please do not feel obliged to print.
Picture of the Week
Have a look at the picture. See if you can answer some questions about it, or ask your parents questions. Use it to write a story, or to tell a story.
