Welcome to Dragonflies Class Page
We are looking forward to an exciting year in Dragonfly class! This year the children will be exploring some fun and exciting topics as well as engaging in some interesting writing activities and some challenging maths questions. As we start our journey through Key Stage 2 we will keep you updated by sharing photographs and other useful information in 'news and events'.

Here are some additional learning ideas which can be undertaken at home and that link to our work in class. Children have been provided with login details, but if for any reason you do not have access to these, please email the school office who will contact me.
I hope you are all well and making the most of your time with your families at this very peculiar time. I'm certainly missing seeing all of your lovely little faces each day but I am keeping busy and as active as possible.
I hope you have found the daily home learning tasks easy enough to follow. As well as the week 2 home learning document below, I have set some fun challenges on Purple Mash (see 2Dos) and there are also activities on MyMaths, for which you should use your own personal log ins. Keep reading daily and using tt rock stars to practise times tables and generate some coins for our new battle against Ducks Class! Not that we are competitive!
A couple of other websites that I have found useful this week:

https://www.youtube.com/user/maddiemoate (Daily Science lessons)
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ (Joe Wicks virtual PE lessons) - Stay as active as you can. These are great fun and definitely raise your heart rate.
https://home.jasmineactive.com/ - REAL PE at home - supports families to be active, play and learn together.

Most of all have fun, stay safe and look after each other!
There will be no home learning tasks set over the Easter holidays (Weeks commencing 6th and 13th April) but you could have a go at some of the Easter bingo activities below for fun and of course enjoy eating your chocolate!
