I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.
You may have finally had a play in the park now things are starting to open again!
All home learning tasks are linked below. We are learning about the history of transport and flight this week as it would have been one of our summer history topics in school. I hope you enjoy it! ✈️
There is another TimesTables rockstars battle in play this week.
Let’s see if we can beat Badgers this time round.
Remember practise makes perfect, especially when it comes to times tables!
Mrs Copping, Mrs Legg and Mrs Fry ☺️
Happy Monday. ☺️ It was such a hot week last week wasn’t it?
Hope you all found ways to keep cool and enjoyed the sunshine!
All the learning tasks for this week are listed below including some information on a virtual sports day. You get a certificate for taking part so check it out!
Keep smiling 🐝

Hello lovely Bumblebees, 🐝
I hope you have all had a wonderful week.
All the documents for this weeks learning are linked below. Try your best and have a go at the activities that work for you.
We are looking at the story of The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch this week.
Have you ever seen a real lighthouse? Do you know what they are for?
I am so proud of all the work you have completed so far.
It’s been a strange time and you have been amazing! Take a look at our well-being page for tips and ideas to keep your mind happy and healthy.
Another idea for something to keep you busy this week... Did you know it’s armed forces day this Saturday (27th)?
Love Yeovil have created a Facebook event in honour of this day asking people to take a photo of themselves or a family member saluting the armed forces.
You can upload a photo to Facebook with the hashtags #SaluteOurForces and #AFDYeovil2020 it’s that simple!
Remember to email me with any photos too so I can display on the class page. I look forward to seeing them!
Stay happy and be helpful
Mrs Copping, Mrs Fry and Mrs Legg ☺️
This weeks home learning linked below...
I hope you have had a good week and managed to get out on your tree hunt in between the rain!
This week we will be making some links to geography in our writing.
Do we live in the town or country? How can we tell them apart? Where would you rather live?
We are continuing with TimesTables and looking at division facts that link this week. Keep practising those TimesTables and using TT Rockstars, it will be great practise for next year!
Keep smiling and being helpful.
Mrs Copping, Mrs Fry and Mrs Legg 🤗
I hope you are all safe, happy and well.
Please find below all the links for home learning this week.
We will be practising our TimesTables this week and there are lots of 2dos on Purple Mash to help you. Remember TimesTables rockstars is also a great resource.
I am back teaching in class full time now so please bear with me if it takes a little longer to respond to emails. If you have any immediate questions regarding the home learning please contact Miss. Truman (Badger’s teacher) who will be able to help you. Her email address can be found on a recent SZapp message.
I hope you enjoy the activities this week, please continue to do what you can and don’t worry if you don’t complete all the tasks.
Next week you will be making something that requires a shoe box, a cereal box or similar will be fine So try and keep back any recycling that may be useful.
Take care everyone and stay safe.
Mrs Copping, Mrs Fry and Mrs Legg 😊
Good Morning Bumblebees!
I hope you had a lovely half term, I still can’t believe how lucky we have been with the weather! I hope you are all enjoying the sun safely and remembering to drink lots of water, wear a hat and apply lots of sun cream! ☀️
In maths this week, we are continuing with the White Rose videos online and all the videos are linked in the home learning plan or directly on the White Rose home learning website.
The children will be working from ‘Summer term - week 6.’
We are making links with science in our English this week and thinking about the life cycle of a sunflower seed and a bean. You may wish to plant some seeds in your garden and see how it grows each day.
Can you remember what plants need to grow? 🌱
We know we have lots of little scientists in Year 1 so I hope you enjoy learning all about plants!
I managed to catch up with Mrs. Andrews over half term, from a distance, and delivered a little outfit for Baby Aria (with a Bumblebee on it of course! ☺️)
Mrs. Andrews is missing you all and sends her love. She has enjoyed looking at all the pictures on our class page of what you have been up too!
Keep smiling and helping your grown ups Bumblebees.
