Year 5 were fortunate enough to be visited by two Nurses to discuss hygiene. They will be designing posters promoting good hygeine that will go on display at Yeovil District Hospital.

Today in Hedgehogs we had a different kind of Numeracy lesson where we used our coordinate skills to find pegs and patterns. It was harder than it looked!

There has been some criminal activity at Oaklands. Year 5 are on the case and hope to have the case solved by the end of the week!

As part of Internet Safety Week, Hedgehogs have taken an 'E Pledge' to discuss with their adults a plan for responsible gaming. We will discuss these on Internet Safety Day on the 5th February.

In Year 5 we are trying to lean all our times tables so we can fall off the Times Table Tree.
Can you read five times in a week and get to the end of the rainbow? If you do you will get an extra break and be in the biscuit and juice club!
