PTA
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a group of parents and staff that organise exciting out of school events to raise money for ‘extra’ things in school. Some of the events that the PTA organises are: school discos, Christmas hampers (see photos below), film club nights and the summer fayre.
The money we raise is spent on many things such as iPads, equipment for the reading gazebo, reading books and cameras.
We are a friendly group of people who want to enrich the children's time at Oaklands. We meet once or twice a term and discuss events as well as how we can spend the money.
